Politecnico di Milano School of Management (Italy) Prof. Tommaso Agasisti's lecture "Assessing School Effectiveness at International Level: Evidence, Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects" was held at the Oval Hall of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport (A. Volano St. 2, Vilnius) on 3th July 2019. This lecture is the initiative of the Minister of Education, Science and Sport dr. Algirdas Monkevičius to continue discussions on topical issues of education and science transformation, through which the proposals of distinguished Lithuanian and foreign scientists, culture and public figures are heard.
Members of EFECTAS profect and Politecnico di Milano School of Management (Italy) Prof. Tommaso Agasisti had met at 238 auditorium of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport (A. Volano St. 2, Vilnius) on 2th July 2019. The results of the EFECTAS project were discussed at the meeting. Prof. Tommaso Agasisti made valuable comments and recommendations.
University of Porto (Portugal), Prof. Ana Camanho's lecture "Benchmarking secondary schools using student's results at University" was held at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Exhibition Halls "Titanikas", 112 auditorium (Maironio g. 3, Vilnius) on 29th November 2018. The lecture is aimed at representatives of schools and higher education institutions, which are related to the admission of future students to higher education institutions.
The results and insights of the project "Modeling the status and causing factors of Lithuanian education system“ (carried out in 2015-2017) were presented at the Great Hall of the Statistics Lithuania (Gedimino Av. 29, Vilnius) on 12th April 2018. Newly started project "Effectiveness and Efficiency Analysis of Education Systems in EU Countries Employing Secondary Big Data (EFECTAS)" was also presented.
